What's in a name?

Good question. This blog begins (now) as an outlet for my desire to share my experiences. There is a theme, but I'm not quite sure what it is yet. I anticipate that there will be posts on topics ranging from my vacations and business trips, scuba diving sites I encounter, lessons learned at work and in life, and, let's not forget, my projects.


My amazing girlfriend started a blog a couple of months ago. So it seems that I am totally copying her. But not really. She's got a great marketing plan. She came up with a pretty solid theme and put together a plan to post and start tracking her progress in terms of visits.


I am content to find an outlet for my creativity; a place to keep track of the memories made. Whether anyone has a look or not will ultimately depend on whether others find my content relevant. I'm not a social media guru. Although I'd like to think otherwise, I am not all that tech savvy.

So this is my blog, a partial view of my life. Feel free to take what you'd like.

What's in a Blogger?

I'm employed as a Chemical Engineer in Seattle, Washington. More on the job and the location later. I am a scuba diver, and have been for quite some time. I also enjoy snowboarding and hiking. Finally, I was just accepted into the Evening MBA program at the University of Washington. More on that later.
